The pink polish Sunday's, was the worst one out of the lot. When the price is that high, you want a 1 to 2 coater. Not 4 coats. Give this a miss.

Nicka K Polish Collection with Live Swatches

Nicka K polishes can purchased on their website http://www.nicka.com for US$4.99.  I purchased my polishes through NZSale.co.nz when they had a flash sale for the brand.

On the base of the bottle only the number for the polish is given, not the name. Overall, the polishes were nice to use with only a few being a tad too thick. Over time the polishes do separate but shaking the bottle will restore the polish to working order again.

Simple Glitter Ombre

I recently brought Revlons Sky's the Limit and wanted to do a quick mani with it. I picked Pretty Serious Crystal Lake to add a glitter ombre. It was a really close color match, maybe too close in shade, but I went with it in the end.

Easy Flower Nail Art using OPI Coca-Cola collection

I  was so happy to hear that OPI was bringing out their Coca-Cola collection to New Zealand. We don't usually get the main collections, and not in conjunction time wise with USA. In store I saw they had eight colors, and not all were up my ally. Plus there was nothing worse than buying a polish and finding out you hated it. So, I opted for the $50 mini collection set which also came with the Nail Envy base coat, and the Top Coat.

This was the design I came up with.

Holographic Gradient Nail Art

Today I am doing a holographic gradient using polishes from Color Club Halo Hues collection. I'm using foam instead of a makeup sponge, as the polishes don't get as absorbed by the sponge as much and you don't have use as much polish.

I am trying Ciate Kitten Heels for the first time. As always, I added a little stud to make it more nail art than just a nail polish.

NYC Boundless Berry Stamping

I really fell in love with this polish, which is really weird for me as I don't tend to go for dark colors. However, the formula was so great that I had to wear it again.

This time I decided to film the application and to see if I could do any stamping with it. I used Moyou London - Doodles Collection plate 03, and the white polish is Sally Hansen White On.

Revlon Transforming Effects Top Coats have finally arrived in New Zealand, and I was curious enough to pick up 3 of the top coats. From online swatches, I knew these would be a must have over black polish.

Nails Inc Ladbroke Grove is one of their Leather Effect polishes. You don't use a base coat or top coat as this will change the effect of the polish. It is basically a textured polish.

I brought the collection from www.transdesign.com as it was one of the few online stores to ship China Glaze internationally. You can't find China Glaze in a walk in store in New Zealand, so we have to resort to online stores. Even the New Zealand online stores who charge between $10 and $22, never have the latest collections.
