Nails Inc Ladbroke Grove is one of their Leather Effect polishes. You don't use a base coat or top coat as this will change the effect of the polish. It is basically a textured polish.
I was intrigued by the 'Leather Effect' of this polish. It is a lovely coral colour polish, so I thought that if I didn't like the effect, I would top coat the polish.
The effect is subtle in my opinion. It maybe that you need to wait between coats of polish, to let it dry before putting on the second coat. It wasn't as rough to the touch as some other polishes I've tried. And it is a lovely coral colour.
Next I wanted to see what it would look like with top coat. I have to say, I like it better with top coat. The texture takes away from the colour, which for me is the best thing about this polish. I may try to do nail art with it in the future, but for now, I will wear with a top coat.
